Kurt Angle Returning To WWE On Raw

Kurt Angle is coming back to WWE Raw

Kurt Angle will return to WWE on next week's edition of Monday Night Raw in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This will be Angle's first appearance on WWE TV since he sent in a video message for John Cena to congratulate the 16-time world champion on his 20-year career.

Angle has not been under contract full-time with WWE since his release in April of 2020 but he has continued to make sporadic appearances on TV. WWE did try to re-sign him in 2020 to be Riddle's manager but the Hall of Famer turned down the offer.

All Elite Wrestling also tried to sign Angle as an in-ring talent but he turned them down too, instead spending his time focusing on his nutrition business and podcast.

Also announced for next week's WWE Raw is the final of the Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament. Dakota Kai and IYO SKY advanced to the final on Raw with a win over Asuka and Alexa Bliss.

Riddle and Seth Rollins will have a face-to-face confrontation on Raw too ahead of their match at Clash At The Castle in Cardiff, Wales, on September 3. The two men were originally set to clash at SummerSlam but the match was pushed back due to a storyline injury to Riddle.
