Las Vegas More Likely To Host WWE WrestleMania 41 With Each Passing Day

The location of WWE WrestleMania 41 looks closer to being finalised.

WWE WrestleMania 41 is looking increasingly likely to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to a tweet by WrestleVotes

"After speaking with a reliable WWE source over the weekend, it seems that the chances of WrestleMania 41 being held in Minneapolis are decreasing with each passing day. 'The longer we wait for an announcement, the stronger Las Vegas looks,' said the source. While this doesn’t mean Minnesota is out of the running, the delay in announcing isn’t part of any new strategy or rollout. WWE is reportedly keen on getting the word out as soon as possible."

A WrestleMania event has never been held in Minneapolis, or anywhere in the state of Minnesota. While WrestleMania IX was held in Caesars Palace in 1993, Las Vegas hasn't seen a 'Mania event since then.

Since WWE regularly started holding WrestleMania in large, open-air stadiums, more often than not they've chosen a location in the south or towards the west coast of the United States, with a greater chance of warm, dry conditions. There have been exceptions, however. This year's Mania was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with reports of cold weather on both nights, particularly night one.
