MJF Punched Wall Following Confrontation With Britt Baker

MJF's confrontation with Britt Baker led to a wall being punched

The controversy between MJF and Britt Baker in AEW has continued to unravel, with even more details emerging about the situation. It was first reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Britt Baker had been suspended by AEW stemming from alleged comments made about MJF, which were relayed to MJF through his partner and AEW backstage interviewer, Alicia Atout. MJF would go on to confront Baker in the women’s locker room (with it stated that he knocked and was allowed it), and the result of an internal investigation on the incident led to Baker being suspended and fined.

Fightful Select have revealed more alleged details behind the incident. It was noted that Will Ospreay engaged in conversation with Baker which didn’t arise to anything heated. Ospreay was MJF’s opponent on the night of the incident.

There have been several claims made about the specifics of the incident, with one claiming that Baker swore at Atout and wanted her kicked out of the AEW women’s locker room. It was also claimed that MJF punched a wall later on following the argument with Baker, leading to him needing his wrist taped extra up prior to his match with Ospreay. Hulk Hogan isn't the only one who hates The Wall, brother.

When it comes to the investigation, there were of course two different sides to the story, with a claim stating that one side of the story was supported, leading to the suspension, though this view isn’t agreed upon by everyone. Although Baker was suspended, she is still set to wrestle at AEW All In, where she will challenge for the TBS Championship.
