MJF Vs. Konosuke Takeshita & More Set For AEW Dynamite

After weeks of issues between the two men, Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Konosuke Takeshita will clash inside the squared circle on the February 8 edition of AEW Dynamite.

Hostilities have been building since Takeshita faced Bryan Danielson on January 11 and the Japanese star and MJF ended up brawling backstage on Wednesday night after Takeshita defeated Brian Cage. It was then announced that Takeshita and MJF will face off in an AEW World Title Eliminator Match next week. 

MJF's quest to halt Bryan Danielson will also continue next week when The American Dragon takes on RUSH. MJF offered El Toro Blanco a bag of money to injure Danielson's arm. Should Danielson win, he will face MJF for the AEW World Title in an Iron Man Match at Revolution. 

Also announced for next week's show is The Acclaimed vs. The Gunns for the AEW World Tag Team Titles, and a Garcia/Guevara Gauntlet Match for Ricky Starks. "Absolute" will take on Angelo Parker, Matt Menard, then either Daniel Garcia or Sammy Guevara. Should Starks win, he will earn a rematch with Chris Jericho.
