Moose Reveals IMPACT Rejected His Custom World Title

No red belt for Moose

While title belts often have iconic designs like the winged eagle or the big gold belt, wrestlers have produced their own custom titles at times, with Steve Austin's smoking skull WWE Title or John Cena's several spinner championships being two popular designs.

IMPACT Wrestling's Moose looked to put his stamp on the IMPACT World Title in recent months but he revealed on the Battleground Podcast the promotion rejected his idea.

"I'm going to break the news now. I actually had a custom IMPACT World Title made. It looks exactly the same, but it's on a red strap, on red leather. I pitched it and it got turned down. I understand why it got turned down. I don't want to get into the details of it, but I understand why. If I keep it long enough, maybe they'll change their mind on it," Moose said.

Moose has reigned as IMPACT World Champion for 94 days since cashing in his Call Your Shot trophy to defeat Josh Alexander for the gold at Bound For Glory. He will next defend the title at No Surrender on Saturday, February 19 against W. Morrissey.
