Multiple Returns On WWE Raw

Multiple returns took place on the post-Royal Rumble edition of Monday Night Raw. 

After almost 10 months out of action, Rick Boogs made his return to WWE TV on January 30, being introduced by Adam Pearce who revealed him as the surprise opponent for The Miz. Boogs then looked impressive in his return, defeating The A-Lister with a Press Slam in under two minutes. 

Boogs was not accompanied to the ring by Shinsuke Nakamura, with their alliance having seemingly been scrapped. Boogs had been on the shelf since sustaining a torn quadriceps in his right leg in the opening match of WrestleMania 39. He and Nakamura challenged The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles on the show and Boogs' leg gave out while he had both Jey and Jimmy Uso in a Fireman's Carry. 

Carmella also made her return to WWE TV, appearing in a backstage interview on Raw that was interrupted by Asuka. Carmella will make her in-ring return next week in a Four-Way qualifying match for Elimination Chamber. It was announced on Raw that Bianca Belair's opponent for WrestleMania 39 will be determined inside Elimination Chamber and Carmella will face Mia Yim, Piper Niven, and Candice LeRae for the right to enter the chamber. 

Carmella had been out of action since sustaining an injury in August. She then suffered a miscarriage in September and an ectopic pregnancy in October.
