NJPW Announces Halloween PPV

Halloween coming to NJPW

New Japan Pro-Wrestling have announced they will hold a Halloween-themed pay-per-view ahead of their Rumble on 44th Street show from New York City.

The Night Before Rumble On 44th Street will take place on October 27 at Palladium Times Square. No talents have been scheduled for the event as of yet but NJPW touted the show will feature "some incredible matchups and a real seasonal party atmosphere." Tickets for the new event go on sale Friday, September 16 at 10 am ET.

Rumble on 44th Street will then take place on October 28, also at Palladium Times Square. That event is almost sold-out, with only a handful of tickets remaining.

New Japan have held numerous events in the United States under their STRONG brand. Fred Rosser is the NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion, while Aussie Open are the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions. Several NJPW stars are usually brought to the United States for their bigger North American shows too.

Halloween-themed shows have grown in popularity again in recent years and WWE NXT revived Halloween Havoc in 2020.
