NJPW Best Of The Super Juniors 28, World Tag League 2021 To Begin On November 13

2 tournaments to end the year

New Japan Pro-Wrestling will end 2021 with two tournaments.

The promotion announced today that Best Of The Super Juniors 28 and World Tag League 2021 will run concurrently from November 13 until the finals on December 15.

"Two great tournaments bring 2021 to a climax! This winter sees both World Tag League and Best of the Super Jr. 28 combine! It all kicks off on Saturday November 13 in Korakuen Hall, before heading toward Ryogoku Sumo Hall December 15! Stay tuned for more!" NJPW tweeted.

Best Of The Super Juniors has traditionally taken place in May and June but the tournament moved to November and December last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. NJPW has ultimately decided to hold BOSJ at the end of the year again in 2021.

No participants in World Tag League and Best Of The Super Juniors have been announced as of yet. The winner of BOSJ will earn a shot at the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, while the winners of World Tag League will challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Title.
