NJPW Reveal Full Cards For Tokyo Dome Wrestle Kingdom 16 Events

New Japan Pro-Wrestling have revealed the full cards for the January 4 and January 5 Wrestle Kingdom 16 shows from the Tokyo Dome. 

The IWGP World Heavyweight Title matches had already been finalised for the Tokyo Dome but several new title matches have been added to the shows.

On January 4, Tomohiro Ishii will put the NEVER Openweight Title on the line against EVIL, World Tag League 2021 winners Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI will challenge Dangerous Tekkers for the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, and El Desperado will defend the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title against Best Of Super Juniors 28 winner Hiromu Takahashi.

In new matches on January 5, Robbie Eagles and Tiger Mask will defend the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title against Taiji Ishimori and El Phantasmo, and Ryusuke Taguchi and Rocky Romero. The House Of Torture team of EVIL, SHO and Yujiro Takahashi will also put the NEVER Openweight 6-man belts on the line against Chaos' Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI and YOH. In the semi-main event, KENTA and Hiroshi Tanahashi will go one-on-one in a No DQ Match for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.

Several special singles matches have also been announced for both days, including Tetsuya Naito vs. Jeff Cobb, SHO vs. YOH and SANADA vs. Great-O-Khan. Katsuyori Shibata's opponent for his return match has yet to be revealed.
