Report: AEW Talents Involved In Altercation With Fan At Rampage Taping

Fan altercation at the AEW Rampage taping

A serious incident was avoided during Wednesday's taping of AEW Rampage from Worcester, Massachusetts.

Lee Moriarty was in action against Matt Sydal at the taping and following the match, Stokely Hathaway made his way to the ring and offered his business card to Taiga Style. Moriarty then accepted the card, hinting he could be set to align with Hathaway, Jade Cargill, and the remainder of The Baddies.

While Hathaway and Moriarty were making their way to the back, though, they had an altercation with a fan, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. The nature of the altercation is currently unclear but Meltzer noted the incident very likely will not be broadcast during Friday's episode of Rampage.

All Elite Wrestling have had trouble with fans in the past and a spectator tried to enter the ring during an MJF and Chris Jericho segment on the special 'Road Rager' episode of Dynamite in 2021. The fan did make it onto the ring apron before he was grabbed by security.
