Report: IMPACT Wrestling Finalising New Bound For Glory Date

Bound For Glory will move from October 8

While it was announced during Slammiversary on Sunday that IMPACT Wrestling will return to pay-per-view with Bound For Glory on October 8, the show won't be taking place on that date.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that IMPACT are currently finalising a new date for Bound For Glory. There is no word on why IMPACT are moving the show, but it was scheduled to go head-to-head with WWE's Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Bound For Glory is IMPACT Wrestling's biggest event of the year and will be the 17th edition of the show in IMPACT's history since its debut in 2005. The event is traditionally headlined by an IMPACT World Title match, as was the case last year when Christian Cage and Josh Alexander went one-on-one for the gold. Moose then called his shot immediately after the main event to capture the world title from Alexander.

Bound For Glory is expected to be IMPACT's final pay-per-view of the year. No venue has been announced for the show as of yet.
