Report: Jeff Jarrett Leaves WWE

Double J reportedly finished up on Friday

Jeff Jarrett has left his position as WWE's Senior Vice President of Live Events, according to a report from PWInsider.

PWInsider's report says the belief is that Jarrett finished with his official duties on Friday, but adds that that's unconfirmed.

Jarrett returned to WWE in May to head up the live events department. Previously, Jarrett re-joined WWE in early 2019 as a backstage producer, before moving to the creative team months later. Jarrett then moved into a position with live events, but exited the company after live events were suspended due to the pandemic in 2020.

Jarrett's last on-screen appearance with WWE was as the guest referee for the Usos vs. Street Profits Tag Team title match at SummerSlam on July 30, in Jarrett's native Nashville.

Jarrett wrestled the same weekend, teaming with Jay Lethal to face Ric Flair and Andrade el Idolo for Jim Crockett Promotions' "Ric Flair's Last Match", also in Nashville.

Jarrett had made other televised appearances since his 2019 return to WWE, including participation in that year's men's Royal Rumble match.
