Report: Kyle O'Reilly's WWE Deal Set To Expire In December
What's next for the NXT star?
Kyle O'Reilly's WWE contract is set to expire at some point next month, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.
O'Reilly is the third notable talent known to have a contract expiring in the months ahead. Johnny Gargano's deal reportedly expires on December 3, while Kevin Owens' is slated to lapse on January 31 of next year.
O'Reilly signed with WWE in 2017. He reported to NXT, where he quickly joined Adam Cole and former reDRagon tag team partner Bobby Fish to form The Undisputed Era. Along with eventual member Roderick Strong, the group held all three men's championships in NXT, with O'Reilly netting three reigns as Tag Team champion.
After The Undisputed Era split earlier in 2021, O'Reilly feuded with Cole, ultimately defeating him in a two out of three falls match at TakeOver 36 in August. The match was Cole's WWE swansong, before he left for AEW. Fish was released from WWE in early August, and has also since joined up with AEW.
In recent times, O'Reilly has been teaming with Von Wagner on NXT 2.0.
