Report: Reason Braun Strowman Vs. Bray Wyatt At WWE Money In The Bank 2020 Was Taped In Advance Revealed

The two Superstars faced off for the Universal Championship...

WWE held its first pay-per-view since WrestleMania 36 last night as Money In The Bank was broadcast from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and Titan Towers in Stamford, Connecticut.

One of the headline matches on the card was Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship as The Eater Of Worlds looked to unburden his former protege. The two Superstars battled back and forth for just under 11 minutes and the bout included multiple peculiar moments.

One such moment involved the Firefly Fun House puppets celebrating at ringside after The Monster Among Men wore the black sheep mask. Strowman and Wyatt then embraced in the ring but the Universal Champion proved it was all a ruse as he picked up his former mentor and hit him with a Running Powerslam for the victory.

The match was one of the few bouts on the show that was taped in advance. Paul Davis at WrestlingNews.co revealed this was because WWE didn't want to risk showing the Firefly Fun House puppeteers on-screen when Wyatt's puppets appeared during the contest.

Wyatt and Strowman's rivalry is now set to continue as The Fiend's involvement was hinted at during the broadcast. The next time the two Superstars can face off on pay-per-view is June 14 at Backlash
