Report: Roman Reigns' Plans For WWE Royal Rumble Revealed

Major plans for Roman Reigns at WWE Royal Rumble

WWE have major plans in the works for Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble.

Reigns has worked a part-time schedule since re-signing with WWE after WrestleMania 38 and he has largely missed the company's B-pay-per-views. With Royal Rumble being one of the Big Four, though, the Undisputed Universal Champion is scheduled to work the show and he is set to defend his title against Kevin Owens, according to WrestlingNews.co

Sheamus was originally set to face Reigns at the Rumble but that match was switched out for Owens. KO has been in and around the Undisputed WWE Universal Title picture in recent months, telling Reigns that he owes him one from their previous feud over the Universal Championship in late 2020 and early 2021.

Owens was on the opposite side to Reigns inside WarGames at Survivor Series and The Prizefighter tried to convince Sami Zayn to turn on The Bloodline ahead of the show. Zayn only cemented his position in WWE's top faction inside WarGames, however, as he decked his friend with a Low Blow and a Helluva Kick before he left him as a sacrifice for Jey Uso to win the match for The Bloodline.
