Report: Update On Angel Garza Following WWE Clash Of Champions 2020

At Clash Of Champions, Angel Garza and Andrade faced off against The Street Profits for the fourth time in the last month. Both teams wrestled an evenly contested match but the finish came out of nowhere when Angelo Dawkins hit Andrade with a Pop-up Spinebuster and the referee counted the 1-2-3 despite El Idolo getting his shoulder up.

WWE hasn't officially addressed the botched finish but it appeared Angel Garza suffered an injury after catching Montez Ford with a Knee Strike. The former Cruiserweight Champion was immediately hobbled and the official threw up the "x" sign. Garza could then be seen receiving medical attention after the match. 

Mike Johnson at PWInsider reported Garza's injury was legitimate and he had a problem with his hip. The WWE Superstar will undergo further assessment today, but the injury isn't believed to be as serious as first feared. An initial report from Johnson noted Angel may have suffered a leg injury, but this turned out not to be the case.
