Report: Update On Ronda Rousey's WWE Suspension

When will Ronda Rousey be back?

Ronda Rousey seemingly won't be gone from WWE TV for very long.

The UFC Hall of Famer was fined an undisclosed amount and suspended in storyline by WWE on Monday following her post-match attack on referee Dan Engler at SummerSlam on July 30. Rousey's attack came after the official failed to spot that Liv Morgan had tapped out to an Armbar during their SmackDown Women's Title match, with the referee instead counting a pinfall on Ronda while both of her shoulders were on the mat.

In an update, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Rousey is scheduled to be in action at Clash At The Castle on September 3 so Rousey's current absence from WWE appears to only be a short-term hiatus.

"She's booked on the Cardiff show. So she's going to be unsuspended at least before [that]. I don't know how long, but it's not going to be a month, to put it that way, because she's got to be back for the PPV show," Meltzer said.

WWE will hold their biggest show in the United Kingdom in 30 years on September 3 with Clash At The Castle set to emanate from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Already announced for the show is an Undisputed WWE Universal Title match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.
