Report: Velveteen Dream Training At WWE Performance Center

He was also spotted backstage at Raw earlier this week

It emerged earlier this week that Velveteen Dream was backstage at the Yuengling Center during Monday Night Raw. The former North American Champion reportedly wasn't booked to be on the show, but his attendance was noteworthy considering he hasn't appeared on WWE TV since he was defeated by Adam Cole on the December 23 edition of NXT.

Dream is seemingly integrating himself back into life in WWE as Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that  Velveteen was back at the Performance Center this week after a long absence from the training facility. If this will lead to his return on WWE TV ultimately remains to be seen, though.

The former North American Champion was previously one of NXT's top stars, but he dropped down the card on the black and gold brand after multiple allegations of sexual misconduct were levied against him between April and June 2020. He continued to make semi-regular appearances in the mid-card following the allegations before he eventually disappeared altogether in December.
