Report: Very Few Decisions Have Been Made About WWE WrestleMania 36 Card

The road to WrestleMania starts soon...

The road to WrestleMania 36 is set to begin soon as WWE continues to prepare for the Royal Rumble on January 26th.

Rumours have already circulated about matches we can expect to see at The Showcase Of The Immortals. Reports in early December indicated that Brock Lesnar would be defending his WWE Championship against either Cain Velasquez or Tyson Fury, however, Dave Meltzer refuted the rumours in last week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Backstage sources in WWE have also indicated that Roman Reigns is set to face "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania for the Universal Championship.

Beyond this match, however, no other decisions have been made about the WrestleMania 36 card according to WrestleVotes. They explained they had spoken to a backstage source over the holidays who said they couldn't remember a January when so little had been finalised for WrestleMania.

For the avoidance of doubt, WrestleVotes tweeted: "Talked to a source over the holidays who’s been with WWE for 10+ years who said they can’t remember a January where so little of the WrestleMania card has been decided upon. Said it’s both refreshing, as WWE is keeping multiple option open, but frustrating at the same time."
