Report: WWE NXT Almost Pulled From The Air In Final Episode On USA Network

WWE NXT almost faded to black early on USA Network

WWE NXT's final episode on the USA Network almost ended in disaster.

NXT often featured an overrun for their episodes on USA, particularly in 2024, and that was the case again for the September 24 edition of NXT. The overrun was seemingly too long last week, however, as Corey Brennan of Fightful Select reported the USA Network almost pulled NXT off the air, with the show finishing only seconds before they were about to be taken down by the network.

The final segment of the show featured a press conference between NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez and Giulia which was interrupted by Stephanie Vaquer, with the show going off the air as Perez held up the NXT Women's Title during a staredown with Giulia as Vaquer was in the middle of them on the video screen.

The internal name for last week's WWE NXT was "Goodbye USA" as NXT heads to The CW from the premiere episode on Tuesday, October 1. The move to the new channel will reportedly lead to some changes for NXT and Tuesday's show has been listed as TV-14
