Report: WWE NXT To Hold 2 More TakeOvers In 2020

No show over Survivor Series weekend, though...

WWE NXT recently held it's 30th TakeOver event back on August 22. Like the vast majority of TakeOvers, the show was widely praised by fans and the North American Championship Ladder match and Adam Cole vs. Pat McAfee were marked out for commendation.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider previously reported WWE will kickstart a busy month in October with the next NXT TakeOver on Sunday, October 4. NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin will then follow later in the month on October 25. The UK brand's event is currently scheduled to take place at the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland but doubts have been cast over the show because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Johnson provided an update on WWE's schedule for the remainder of 2020 yesterday and revealed there is no planned TakeOver for Survivor Series weekend. The show will instead take place on Sunday, December 6. The black and gold brand has hosted a TakeOver event on the night before Survivor Series for the past four years and the last three November shows have been headlined by the revived WarGames match.
