Paul Wight Says The Undertaker Told Him To 'Quit The Business'

Paul Wight learned not to bother The Undertaker with stupid questions.

The Undertaker didn't have time for any of Paul Wight's bullsh*t during The Big Show's early WWE days.

Speaking with Fightful, the 'World's Largest Athlete' revealed that 'The Deadman' routinely used to tell him to 'quit the business' after Wight tried to solicitate advice from him, saying:

"I didn't get pats on the back from The Undertaker. 'Taker used to tell me all the time, 'Take three weeks off and quit the business'. 'Cause I went out for an atta-boy once. I was like, 'Hey, man, did you see anything I can improve on?'. Typical young guy bullsh*t. He goes, ‘Yeah, I know something you can do. You can take three weeks off and quit the business'. I was like, 'Okay, note to self, don't bother him with silly stuff like that'. So, I think it's important to give a talent an honest feedback. That doesn't mean you have to tear him down and point out everything they do wrong. 'Cause if you've been in this business long enough, you can expose stuff in your own work and everybody else's work after it happened. It's giving them the situations to understand why something happens and to make a change to better their character."

Wight is currently recovering after having both of his knees and hips surgically replaced. In July, he was given an authority figure role on Ring of Honor TV.
