Primo & Epico To Make NWA Debuts

The Colóns Primo & Epico to make NWA debuts

Former WWE Tag Team Champions Primo & Epico are set to make their National Wrestling Alliance debut as part of the upcoming NWA Powerrr TV tapings.

The Colón cousins will be part of the TV taping sessions in Tampa, Florida on October 5 and 6, with their arrival in the promotion helped by NWA National promoter Bryan Idol, with Idol saying the following about the team:

“The Colóns are very real threats to any champion in the NWA,” said Idol. "I’m so happy to see the people of Puerto Rico represented in such a huge way. They are such passionate wrestling fans, and now they can see two of their favourites in the National Wrestling Alliance.”

“Both are huge, huge stars in Puerto Rico and around the world,” Idol continued, “Bringing veterans like Primo and Epico to the National Wrestling Alliance — and having a world-traveled duo like this in our locker room — is a tremendous addition to NWA’s already stacked tag team division.”

The cousins are part of Puerto Rico’s legendary Colón wrestling family, alongside WWE star Carlito, and WWE Hall of Famer Carlos Colón.

Former one-time WWE Tag Team Champions, Primo & Epico wrestled under the Shining Stars and Los Matadores gimmicks in WWE, as well as under their Colóns name. The duo were in WWE for the best part of a decade before being released in 2020.
