EXCLUSIVE: Primo Colon Details Unique WWE Working Relationship With WWC
Carlos Colon also possibly HATED Los Matadores

Eddie Colon (AKA Primo) has detailed the unique working relationship that WWE had with WWC that allowed himself and Epico to work for Carlos Colon's promotion while they were under contract with WWE.
Speaking exclusively with Cultaholic Wrestling on Desert Island Graps, Colon stated:
"There's always been a verbal agreement between Vince and my dad that, 'Hey, these are my kids. They're on loan but anytime I need them when you guys aren't using them, they can always work Puerto Rico.' That was always a cool deal. I think we were one of the only ones that could actually wrestle outside of WWE no questions asked as long as they didn't have a pay-per-view or live event or anything where we were booked."
Primo doesn't believe his father was a big fan of Los Matadores, however, as his bookings in Puerto Rico suddenly dried up while he was under the mask alongside Epico and El Torito.
"During my whole time in WWE, I'd wrestle maybe three or four times a year I'd go down to Puerto Rico for a big show here and there and wrestle. I don't think my dad was a big fan of the Matadores because whenever we were in that gimmick, he'd be like, 'No, no I don't need you in Puerto Rico.' My dad never told me he didn't like the gimmick but I don't think he was a big fan...It was a hokey gimmick but, I mean, it was one of the best, at least financially, decisions I made," Eddie added.
Eddie Colon has been gone from WWE since his release in 2020. His brother, Carlito, has found himself back in WWE since 2023, however, and Eddie admitted how proud he was of his sibling and his current run with Judgment Day.
Eddie Colon will be involved with WWC Aniversario 51 on August 31. Tickets are available now.
