Report: WWE Planning To Push Back WrestleMania 37 To April 11, 2021

No longer a March 'Mania

Back in November, a report from WrestleVotes noted WWE had discussed moving WrestleMania 37 from March 28 to a later date to improve the chances of having fans in attendance. Both April 11 and April 18 had been talked about as possible dates.

They tweeted: "There has been internal discussions about moving the scheduled date of WrestleMania from 3/28 to 4/11 or even 4/18. The goal remains to have fans in attendance for the event. The thought process of moving back the show a few weeks only helps that out."

WrestleVotes provided an update earlier today and noted it looks like The Showcase Of The Immortals is indeed being pushed back.

They wrote: "Looks to be happening. Which is good."

Fightful Select has also reported that 'Mania is being pushed back. April 11 is currently listed as the internal date, two weeks after March 28.

Where the event will take place is currently unknown, though. The Show Of Shows is expected to be moved to Tampa, Florida but if the event will be held at Raymond James Stadium or another venue has yet to be revealed.
