Report: WWE Set For Mammoth Day Of TV Tapings

The Performance Center recruits are in for a long day...

On Monday night, WWE announced a developmental talent had tested positive for coronavirus. The company later cancelled yesterday's scheduled tapings so all staff and talent could be tested for COVID-19 and planned to resume production today.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider reported WWE is set for a mammoth day of TV tapings which began at 11 am ET at the Performance Center. Next week's Monday Night Raw and Raw Talk will be taped along with the June 26 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, two episodes of 205 Live, and next weekend's Main Event. Tonight's episode of NXT will also be taped at Full Sail University later on today along with next week's edition of the black and gold brand.

Johnson noted filming will go on all day and could end up being the longest day of tapings in company history.

In regards to COVID-19 testing, WWE Superstars were expecting their results back earlier today but some test results have been delayed. The wrestlers remain on "standby" close to the Performance Center so they can quickly head to the tapings once their results come back. Anyone with a positive test will not be allowed to enter either Full Sail or the Performance Center.
