Seth Rollins Signs New WWE Deal

He's freakin' staying.

WWE star Seth Rollins has committed his future to the company.

Fightful Select have confirmed that the former WWE Champion has signed a new multi-year deal for 'big money'. This is consistent with other stars who have recently re-signed, such as Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor.

Fightful added that Rollins told them in February that he wanted to remain in WWE and was confident a deal could be reached. His previous contract was set to expire in June.

While the exact length of the deal is not currently known, Fightful did note that it will keep the 37-year-old there until his 40s. A source closed to WWE and Rollins said WWE were not willing to let Seth go elsewhere, while one WWE higher-up expressed that they wish they had reached a deal sooner.

Fightful's report emphasised that there was big interest in Rollins from elsewhere, but were unsure whether any offers were made.

Seth last wrestled on night two of WrestleMania XL, where he dropped the WWE World Heavyweight Title to McIntyre.

He is currently sidelined after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus, but was included in the recent WWE Draft (where he was drafted to Raw).
