Sheamus Says He Wants A Match With Finn Balor At WWE NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin

NXT UK: TakeOver Dublin is over a month away as it is currently scheduled to take place at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on April 26. However, with coronavirus measures only being tightened in the UK and the Republic Of Ireland, it appears increasingly unlikely that the event will go ahead as planned. 

Despite this, former WWE Champion Sheamus said during a recent interview with Sportskeeda that he would like to work the show when it does happen, and preferably have a match with fellow Irishman Finn Balor. If this match wasn't possible, he also touted NXT UK Champion WALTER and Gallus member Wolfgang as other prospective opponents. 

Whether or not Sheamus will be on the show remains to be seen, however, as he admitted no one from WWE had approached him about being at TakeOver.

The Celtic Warrior said: "I'd love to be involved. I haven't heard anything, WWE hasn't approached me about it, nobody has asked me about it so I don't know. I know it's there, it will be a huge thing. I'd love to go, I'd love a match with Finn, would be great. WALTER. Wolfgang. You know what I'm saying? There's a lot of great talent over there. I'm up for it all but no one has approached me about it."
