Report: WWE Interested In Booking LA Knight Vs. Randy Orton Feud

Randy Orton vs. LA Knight feud of interest to WWE

LA Knight is the reigning and defending WWE United States Champion, but could Knight be set to put the title on the line against Randy Orton?

A report from WrestleVotes during a Backstage Pass Q&A session suggests that WWE are keen on running an Orton vs. Knight feud at some point, with the two having never had a singles match against one another during their careers.

"I can't say that he's [LA Knight] wanted to, I know there's been interest in doing an LA Knight vs. Randy Orton programme at some point," WrestleVotes said.

The two have shared a ring on four televised WWE events in 2024, facing off in a triple threat match with AJ Styles on the January 5 SmackDown, whilst later clashing in multi-man matches at Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber. The two have teamed up against The Bloodline on the WWE house show loop in recent months.

Knight has been US Champion since defeating Logan Paul for the belt at SummerSlam in August, and has successfully defended the title on three occasions on TV, beating Santos Escobar, Ludwig Kaiser, and Andrade. Orton previously reigned as US Champion for 27 days in 2018, defeating Bobby Roode for the title before dropping it to Jinder Mahal in a four-way match at WrestleMania 34.
