Cora Jade Returns During WWE NXT's The CW Premiere

WWE NXT’s premiere on The CW saw the return of Cora Jade

Cora Jade is back in WWE NXT, after making her shock return during the black and gold silver brand’s premiere on The CW.

During the show opening NXT Women’s Championship match between champ Roxanne Perez and challenger Giulia, a hooded figure arrived to attack Giulia and halt her momentum, allowing Perez to get the win and retain the title. The hooded figure was, of course, Cora Jade, with a follow-up post on NXT’s social media channels teasing an uneasy alliance between Jade and Perez.

This was Cora Jade’s first appearance in NXT since suffering an ACL tear in January 2024. Reports at the time of the injury stated that Jade could miss up to a year of action. This tear was the latest setback to befall the young star, with Jade having only returned from a hiatus at NXT Deadline in December 2023.

What this means for the NXT Women’s Championship scene at this point remains unclear. Even though Perez has the title and Jade by her side for now, there’s no saying that Cora won’t want her shot at the belt, never mind a vengeful Giulia and a soon-to-be-debuting Stephanie Vaquer waiting in the wings as well.
