Cora Jade Returns To NXT At Deadline
Cora Jade is back
There was a big return at NXT Deadline last night, as Cora Jade made her comeback to the developmental brand.
The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion has been out of action since all the way back in July, when she stormed out following a loss to Dana Brooke, proclaiming to be sick of NXT.
Last night at the Deadline premium live event, Blair Davenport emerged victorious in the Iron Survivor match, earning a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship against the reigning champion Lyra Valkyria at NXT New Year’s Evil. The pair faced off after the match, but this was followed up with Cora Jade returning and attacking the champion, and afterwards holding the belt high, making her intentions very clear.
In a promo afterwards, Jade said she was back to bring the division to a higher level and become the NXT Women’s Champion. Valkyria will have more than one person to fend off over the next few months it seems if she wants to keep hold of her belt.
