Smackdown & Collision Going Head-To-Head Next Week

AEW & WWE are going against each other next week

WWE & AEW are going head-to-head once again next week, as both WWE SmackDown and AEW Collision will be airing at the same time. This is due to the fact that the All Out 2024 PPV will be taking place on Saturday September 7, meaning that Collision’s usual time slot won’t be used and the show has been rescheduled to the night before, placing it at the same time as SmackDown.

This will be a three-hour block for AEW, as both Collision and Rampage in Chicago will be airing back to back. This will mark the go-home to All Out the following night, which takes place in the same NOW Arena venue in Illinois.

SmackDown next week is a very notable show too, as it marks the final episode of the blue brand on FOX, ending its five-year stay on the station. The only things announced thus far for SmackDown are Giovani Vinci’s return to television, and a big tag team match which sees The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa & Jacob Fatu) take on DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford).

Nothing has been announced for the Collision/Rampage double header, though with Collision airing later tonight, it is safe to expect something to be advertised for next week.
