SmackDown Women's Title Match Added To WWE Clash Of Champions

Who will challenge Bayley?

The SmackDown Women's title match for the Clash of Champions pay-per-view is now set, following a four-way number one contender's match on Friday night's episode of SmackDown.

Nikki Cross earned a shot at the title after defeating Alexa Bliss, Lacey Evans, and Tamina in the match. This was in spite of being attacked before the match by SmackDown Women's champion Bayley.

Cross pinned Tamina to earn the shot after avoiding a superkick, and then getting Tamina into a pinning predicament.

Bliss actually walked out of the match early on, selling a Fiend-induced "trance" after giving Cross a Sister Abigail on the arena floor.

Bayley and Cross have faced off previously in championship matches. The two fought for Bayley's title at July's Extreme Rules, with Bayley retaining her championship.

The updated card for WWE Clash of Champions, taking place on Sunday, September 27 at the Amway Center in Orlando, FL, is as follows:

* WWE World: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton

* WWE Universal: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jey Uso

* SmackDown Women's: Bayley (c) vs. Nikki Cross
