SPOILER: AEW Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament Final Decided On Rampage

Rampage saw the finals of the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament decided

The July 10 edition of AEW Dynamite will see the finals of the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournaments, with the winners of the brackets set to compete for the men’s and women’s AEW world championships at All In 2024.

At Dynamite Beach Break on July 3, Bryan Danielson and Willow Nightingale confirmed their slots in their respective finals, with victories over PAC and Kris Statlander, and on the upcoming July 5 edition of AEW Rampage (recorded on July 3) the other finalist in the women’s tournament was confirmed.

After victory over Deonna Purrazzo in the opening round, Hikaru Shida faced off with Mariah May in the semi-finals, with May having defeated Saraya at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30 to book her semi-final slot. Eventually, it was Mariah May who ended up victorious, pinning Shida to advance and face Willow Nightingale in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Nightingale will be May’s biggest test since coming to AEW, with Willow having won the 2023 edition of the Owen, as well as reigning as TBS Champion in 2024. For May, she will be looking to win and finally prove herself against mentor Toni Storm, with Storm having taken May under her wing and into her bosom since her arrival in the company.
