Stephen Amell Bringing His Ring Gear For AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam

Heels actor Stephen Amell says he is bringing his ring gear to AEW: Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe stadium this week.
Amell announced on IGTV that he will be in the audience for Grand Slam, and that his gear bag will be with him.
A lifelong wrestling fan, Amell made his in-ring debut at WWE SummerSlam 2015, teaming with Neville against Stardust and King Barrett. Since then he has wrestled twice more; first with Bullet Club against SCU and Flip Gordon at ROH Survival of the Fittest 2017, and then in a loss against Christopher Daniels at All In in 2018.
An honorary member of The Elite due to his friendship with Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks, Amell has also recently worked with CM Punk, with the the latter appearing in Heels as Ricky Rabies.
Whether Amell will actually get involved at Grand Slam is as yet unknown, but seeing as though Rosario Dawson had an altercation with Aleister Black on last week’s edition of AEW: Dynamite, then anything is possible.
