Tommaso Ciampa And Timothy Thatcher Set for WWE NXT Action

Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher will return to NXT on Wednesday with a non-title match against NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. 

Ciampa and Thatcher teamed together in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic after facing each other in the Fight Pit, reaching the semi-finals before being beaten by the Grizzled Young Veterans. 

Lorcan and Burch had been due to defend their titles this week against the Dusty Classic winners, MSK, but Wes Lee is currently out of action with a broken hand. 

It appears Lorcan and Burch have new opponents for Wednesday, however, as a segment between the duo, MSK and Ciampa at the Capitol Wrestling Center has led to a tag-team match being made official for NXT. 

The Blackheart and Thatcher have been a formidable duo since linking up for the Dusty Classic, and will face a Lorcan and Burch team that won the NXT Tag Team Championships from Breezango back in October of last year.

Wednesday's NXT will also see a match for the Women's Tag Team Titles, as Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defend against Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez.
