Tony Khan Believes Contract Tampering Is Still Going On By WWE

Tony Khan doesn't think WWE have stopped alleged contract tampering

Tony Khan has never minced his words when it comes to WWE, and especially when it comes to alleged contract tampering. Back in 2023 during an interview on the Dan Le Batard Show, Khan revealed that AEW talents had come to him to inform about WWE reaching out and “contract tampering”.

“I can only speak to the challenges we’ve had and I got a lot of wrestlers come to me and allege that WWE reached out to them to tamper with their contracts and ask them to break their contracts. I can’t confirm that specifically. I can only tell you what the wrestlers have come to me and said.”

Several months later, Khan took to X to bring up the issue again.

"This weekend marks 1 year since @MayoClinic saved my mom's life. During her ordeal many AEW talent came to me alleging WWE tampering, inducing them to break their contracts. I'll never forget these phone calls at her side in the hospital; it's when business became personal for me. This is nothing new, I mentioned it last year after she came home. It's relevant today because she checked in for surgery 1 year ago today. As I've mentioned several times since, @MayoClinic are heroes and thanks to them, her recovery from a very grim outlook has been a miracle.”

In another appearance on the Dan Le Batard Show recently, Khan was asked about whether or not his public comments had put a stopper in the issue, to which Khan revealed that he did not think so.

"I don't think that it has. It's still happening. I will reserve all rights when it comes to that, but I don't think that it's stopped. I'll leave it at that.”
