Tony Khan Unsure About Adding An Intermission To AEW PPVs

Longer video packages could be on the way instead

Following All Elite Wrestling's first non-televised event 'The House Always Wins', Tony Khan revealed he was considering adding an intermission to AEW pay-per-views given the success of the house show. He wanted to know what others thought about the idea and the results are seemingly in.

Khan appeared on Busted Open Radio ahead of Blood & Guts and noted he is now unsure about adding an intermission following a mixed reception to the idea.

"I don't know if I'm going to do the intermission. I've gotten really mixed (reviews)... I might do long (video) packages in the show and maybe give a timer to when we're back, but I don't think it's going to be a big break in the show. The packages are a big part of the show," Khan stated.

AEW pay-per-views are already long affairs and many seemingly didn't want to make the events any longer than they needed to be. The company will return to pay-per-view on May 30 with Double Or Nothing, which will be AEW's first full-capacity show since March 11, 2020.
