Tony Nese Reportedly Signs With AEW

Nese was shown in the crowd on AEW Dynamite

Tony Nese has reportedly signed with All Elite Wrestling.

Nese was shown in the crowd on the Saturday 23 October episode AEW Dynamite,  where he was dubbed as 'one of the hottest free agents in wrestling'. Nese would then work the AEW Dark tapings at Universal Studios on Sunday.

The former WWE star has now reportedly put pen to paper on a deal with AEW, with Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio saying "he's signed, that's the deal" when discussing the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Details regarding Nese's deal have not been disclosed at this time. AEW will often have talent signed to a tier 0 contract, which means there is an agreement to appear on certain dates, before moving them up to tier 1 contracts which is a base agreement. A move to tier 1 is often indicated by the talent in question getting the traditional 'All Elite' graphic on social media.

Nese, who is yet to receive any form of 'All Elite' graphic, left WWE in June after being released from his deal.
