Triple H Reveals Why Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens Vs. The Usos Was The WrestleMania Main Event

Triple H Has Revealed The Reason For Selecting Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens Vs. The Usos Being The WrestleMania 39 Main Event

Up until the night of WrestleMania 39, the main event of night one was up in the air. It was a toss up between Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley and Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens vs. The Usos, but in the end it was the Undisputed Tag Team Championship match which took that illustrious spot.

On the post-show press conference, Triple H was asked about his decision on which of these two matches he chose to select as the show-closing match and moment;

“It’s all about what is the most impactful. Right, and this storyline has played out heading into WrestleMania, to me it's the most emotionally and storyline driven match on the card, and I felt like that needed to be, I think we all felt like it needed to be in that spot. I’ve said this before when people, when we talked before about when you put women in the main event, that's the spot, right, that is the storyline that is driving things to put them in that role. It's not about giving it to them because they’re women, it's not about giving it to somebody like, never once did it factor for me at all.”

Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes will be the match to main event night two of WrestleMania 39, with The Bloodline story being all over the main event picture at WWE’s biggest show of the year.
