Two Title Matches Added To AEW Grand Slam 2024

More titles on the line in Arthur Ashe Stadium for AEW Grand Slam 2024

AEW continue to load up the card for Grand Slam 2024, which takes place on September 25 from New York's Arthur Ashe Stadium.

AEW CEO Tony Khan announced in a social media post that Mariah May will put the AEW Women's World Championship on the line against Yuka Sakazaki on the show.

Sakazaki had her first match on Dynamite since 2021 on the September 18 show, teaming with Queen Aminata to defeat May and Serena Deeb via disqualification when May hit Sakazaki with her title belt.

Also added to Grand Slam was an AEW Trios Championship open challenge, with the Blackpool Combat Club's Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta and PAC defending against as yet unnamed opponents.

It is unknown whether or not this match will take place on Dynamite or be taped for Collision.

During last night's Dynamite, one potential set of challengers were seemingly taken out of the equation when Castagnoli, Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir attacked Private Party and Kommander, with Moxley taking a hammer to Isiah Kassidy's hand.

The Dynamite portion of Grand Slam will see AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson take on Nigel McGuinness in a non-title match, Moxley face Darby Allin for Allin's future AEW World Title shot and The Young Bucks defend their AEW World Tag Team Titles against Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher.
