Update On Lawsuit Between Britney Abrahams and WWE

WWE must respond to the lawsuit this month

Former WWE writer Britney Abrahams made the news over the last month or so after it was revealed that she had filed a lawsuit against her former employers and Vince McMahon over alleged racially motivated scripts and pitches for characters and storylines, some of the more awful examples includes a pitch that stated Mansoor would be revealed to be behind the 9/11 attacks.

PWInsider have provided a small update on the lawsuit, revealing;

“Court records for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York indicate the defendants in the lawsuit brought against WWE, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and other WWE executives by former WWE Writer Britney Abrahams are required to respond to the case by 6/26.”

This means that those keeping up with WWE’s legal battles will likely get more of a significant update before the month comes to a close. The lawsuit was brought about due to Abrahams accusing the company of discriminatory behavior towards her which led to her being fired for speaking out against alleged racist pitches.
