It has been reported in recent weeks that the contract of WWE veteran Natalya was coming up in June, with no new deal signed in the lead up to her contract expiring. A new report from Fightful Select has revealed that there is still no new agreement.
However, a development in this story is that WWE and Natalya are now revealed to be in talks about a new deal, and with there still being a “few weeks” left before her contract runs out, there is certainly time for something to be signed from both parties. When it comes to a potential move away from WWE, the report has noted that “there is expected to be outside interest from a variety of companies globally”. There was no confirmation on whether AEW was one of those potentially interested, though the report does state that it is “plausible” for her to be considered for the upcoming Owen Hart Cup tournament.
Several WWE contracts have been coming up recently, with Drew McIntyre agreeing to a new big money deal, Becky Lynch running down her contract to become a free agent, and Chad Gable’s deal being up as soon as this week.
