Chad Gable's WWE Deal Expiring Next Week

Chad Gable to leave WWE?

WWE could be set to lose one of their featured performers within a matter of days.

According to Fightful Select, Chad Gable's WWE contract is set to expire on Friday, June 7 and the two parties have not agreed to terms on a new deal. WWE are interested in re-signing Gable but it is unknown if the two sides have held talks over a new contract.

If Gable hits free agency, he is expected to receive interest from across pro wrestling and there will reportedly be a strong push from talents to vouch for him to be signed. All Elite Wrestling have previously shown interest in Chad Gable, notably back in 2021. Gable would also have interest from MMA companies if his WWE deal expires.

Gable has been signed with WWE since 2013 and he has been booked as a featured performer on the main roster in recent years as part of Alpha Academy. He is a three-time WWE Tag Team Champion on the main roster, having held gold with Jason Jordan, Bobby Roode, and Otis. Gable is also a former NXT Tag Team Champion with Jason Jordan.

Gable is just the latest WWE talent whose contract is coming down to the wire. Natalya's contract will reportedly expire within days, while Becky Lynch will become a free agent on June 1 and she is expected to take an extended break from pro wrestling. Dijak's deal is believed to be expiring in the near future.
