Why Chris Jericho Missed AEW Dynamite Revealed

Chris Jericho was noticeably absent from the November 30 AEW Dynamite

The Jericho Appreciation Society continued their war against the Blackpool Combat Club on the November 30 edition of AEW Dynamite, but Jericho himself was noticeably absent from the episode.

The Ring Of Honor Champion was last seen on the November 23 Dynamite in a bloody fight with NJPW star Tomohiro Ishii, but was absent on November 30 as he is currently on tour with Fozzy in Australia, with Fozzy performing in Brisbane the same night as Dynamite.

The tour is scheduled to conclude on December 4, so Jericho should be back in time for Dynamite on December 7, ahead of his ROH World Championship clash against Claudio Castagnoli at Final Battle on December 10.

Jericho has been the lead singer of Fozzy since 1999, with the band’s song ‘Judas’ serving as Jericho’s theme music in AEW and NJPW.

Castagnoli vs. Jericho was confirmed in November, with the stipulation that if Jericho successfully defends his ROH World Title then Claudio must join the Jericho Appreciation Society.
