WrestleMania 24 Returns To The WWE Network

The likes of Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels and Edge vs. The Undertaker are available once again

WrestleMania 24 has returned to the WWE Network after being suddenly removed from the streaming service over the weekend.

Many suspected the show had been pulled because of a music rights issue and this was indeed the case. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE had to re-edit Floyd Mayweather's entrance music and The Showcase Of The Immortals was re-uploaded once the issue had been corrected.

Other events from 2008 featuring the boxer's theme could also be briefly pulled from the Network.

Music producer Anthony Lawrence Dash sued WWE and Mayweather in 2010 over Money's entrance at WrestleMania 24. Dash claimed the beat in Mayweather's theme was his and WWE and the boxer used it without his permission. The judge ruled in WWE and Mayweather's favour in 2013.

The WrestleMania in question took place at the Florida Citrus Bowl on March 30, 2008. Outside of Floyd Mayweather vs. The Big Show, The Show Of Shows featured Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair in The Nature Boy's last ever WWE match and Edge vs. The Undertaker in the main event.
