WWE 2K23 MyRISE Details Revealed

Ahead of the launch of WWE 2K23 next week, further details have been revealed about the game's MyRISE mode. 

Developers Visual Concepts have taken on feedback from WWE 2K22 and this year's MyRISE will feature two major storylines for players to select. Should they decide to be a male superstar, players will be 'The Lock', a top-tier talent who made his name on the independent wrestling scene before heading to WWE. The option for a female superstar will see players be 'The Legacy', a second-generation talent who originally came up in WWE through the Ruthless Aggression era. 

Visual Concepts has promised that choices and matches will matter in MyRISE and players will have to deal with the politics backstage in WWE. That can come in the form of a backstage producer asking players to complete certain tasks in a match but it will be down to the player to decide whether they want to complete those tasks or not. All storylines will also feature "better cutscenes" than in WWE 2K22.

WWE 2K23 will be released on Friday, March 17 on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
