WWE Announces Hell In A Cell For Chicago In June

The 14th annual Hell in a Cell pay-per-view

WWE announced on Friday that their annual Hell in a Cell pay-per-view will take place at Chicago's Allstate Arena on Sunday, June 5.

This will mark the second year in a row that Hell in a Cell takes place in the month of June. From 2009 through 2020, WWE held Hell in a Cell every year in October (except for 2018, when it took place in September).

This will be the first WWE pay-per-view to take place in Chicago since the 2019 Survivor Series. Prior to the pandemic, WWE held a pay-per-view in Chicago every single year from 2006 to 2019 (with 2008 being the lone exception).

WWE's known 2022 pay-per-view schedule will include:

* April 2 and 3: WrestleMania 38 (AT&T Stadium - Dallas, TX)

* May 8: WrestleMania Backlash (Dunkin' Donuts Center - Providence, RI)

* June 5: Hell in a Cell (Allstate Arena - Chicago, IL)

* July 2: Money in the Bank (Allegiant Stadium - Las Vegas, NV)

* July 30: SummerSlam (Nissan Stadium - Nashville, TN)

* November 26: Survivor Series (TD Garden - Boston, MA)
