WWE Developmental Talent Cal Bloom Renamed Von Wagner

Is Bloom heading to the main roster?

The purpose of WWE's latest trademark filing has been revealed.

The company filed to trademark 'Von Wagoner' on August 26 for 'entertainment services' and developmental talent Cal Bloom has since renamed his social media handles to 'Von Wagner.'

Either Bloom or WWE has spelled the new name incorrectly. The company did previously file to trademark 'LA Night' instead of 'LA Knight' following the former IMPACT World Champion's signing with WWE.

Bloom has been under contract with WWE since March 2019 and he reported to the Performance Center with Robert Stone and Malcolm Bivens. He is the son of Wayne Bloom, who performed in WCW, the AWA and then WWF as Beau Beverly.

Cal made his main roster debut in April 2020 in a one-minute squash match against Sheamus on Friday Night SmackDown. Bloom was then defeated by R-Truth on Main Event a few days later.

WWE main roster officials evaluated Bloom recently and he defeated Austin Theory on August 27 in a SmackDown dark match.
