WWE King And Queen Of The Ring Set For May 27

WWE King and Queen of the Ring to take place in Saudi Arabia

WWE will return to Saudi Arabia following WrestleMania 39.

The company and the Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority have announced that WWE will hold King and Queen of the Ring at the Jeddah Superdome on Saturday, May 27. It will be WWE's first event in Saudi Arabia since Crown Jewel in November 2022, which was main evented by an Undisputed WWE Universal Title match between champion Roman Reigns and Logan Paul.

May 27 will mark the return of the King of the Ring pay-per-view for the first time since 2002. WWE held a King of the Ring Network special in 2015.

It will also be the first King of the Ring tournament since 2021's Crown Jewel, a tournament that was won by Xavier Woods. WWE have yet to hold a Queen of the Ring tournament, but the organisation ran the Queen's Crown Tournament in 2021. Zelina Vega was crowned Queen following a win over Doudrop, also at Crown Jewel 2021.

King and Queen of the Ring will take place one day before All Elite Wrestling's Double or Nothing pay-per-view on Sunday, May 28. That show will once again take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
